I will be touring with Musical Matrix in it's original, Norwegian version on Lofoten and the district around Narvik between the 20th and 30th of september.
My show Musical Matrix has been selected as one of the shows to be presented at Showcase '10 in Gothenburg on the 9th of september. I will be joined by Danish video artist Anders Elberling for a very special edition of Musical Matrix on this occasion.
Beginning of september means taking the electric cello to London. The concerts where I perform are part of the New Music Incubator exchange between Swedish and British composers and performers. Dates: 2nd of september at Club Non-Classical at The Horse&Groom in Shoreditch and the 5th of september at Café Oto in Hackney.
Musical Matrix is my solo-show designed towards the younger audience. The concept has been realized in co-operation with Musikk I Nordland in Norway and I've performed the show around 60 times in Norwegian schools. The show takes the listener/viewer on an exploration into the world of musical technology in the form of an electric cello with effects, loop machine and a laptop.
